SharePoint is a Work Horse for Committees

Posted by Marlon on Mar 17, 2011

Will you agree to me if I will say that SharePoint can be the most useful for committees? Yes, right? Committees by the word itself presage synchronization, teamwork, conversation, arguments, so on and so forth. SharePoint, as a content management solution, provides exactly what any committee requires the most. On SharePoint sites, committees can team up set of people and facilitate distribution and supervision of content arranged for conversation and debate in meetings.

SharePoint Server 2010 can be used by committees for crafting and submitting committee programs, committee minutes, and other vital committee documents. Here, committees can draft, scrutinize, commend and remark on committee jobs even if the group members are spread across the globe. Earlier meeting data can be checked on real-time basis. Blogs, social networks, wikis, etc. can be used on SharePoint Server 2007.

Hosted Microsoft Exchange is also gainful for committees as it facilitates them to be informed about their emails on a real-time basis. Swift email access, mobile synchronization, email archival, checking contact list, calendar, task list, etc. are some of the paybacks of using Dedicated Exchange Server.

Several other free hosting templates for data management and project management are also available for reorganization, collaboration, and systematization of tasks.

Avoid Hefty Hotel Charges – Use Calling Cards

Posted by Marlon on Feb 24, 2011

GlobeStaying at a hotel in Asia follows a simple set of rules common for most other places around the world – you must make sure you get a good deal on it, as it will dictate the quality of your visit in general. One of the important things to consider is your ability to place phone calls while staying at the hotel – often, the hotel would charge you quite a lot for this service. This makes calling cards quite useful, as they can allow you to skip those heavy charges and get access to some good deals, making your stay a truly delightful and relaxed one.

For example, if you’re staying in the Philippines, you can get various deals on calling cards that allow you to call the Philippines at reduced rates, sometimes even for free (with some limitations, naturally). One of the important things to consider with the above example is the duration of your stay – often, many of the cards with good deals for calling Philippines can be even more attractive if picked appropriately with this in mind. For example, with some calling cards you’ll get bonuses every week based on the duration of your calls, so you can definitely benefit a lot if you know what you’re doing and use your calls wisely.

It’s certainly not that hard to make your stay in Asia a pleasant one and save up a lot of money you shouldn’t be paying in the first place – you just need to be a wise consumer.
